Aerovision demonstrated the ” Intelligent Aircraft Tractor Driving Simulator” at the Strive and Rise Programme event

[Hong Kong, 26 August 2025] – Ir. Dr Angus Cheung, CEO of Aerovision Technology Limited (ATL), was invited by the Chief Secretary of the HKSAR Government to be one of the Star Mentors for the annual Strive and Rise Programme event.

The Strive and Rise Programme is jointly organised by the Hong Kong Social Welfare Department and the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups. This star-mentor event was held at the Hong Kong International Aviation Academy, featuring a guided tour of the aviation industry and simulated training experiences, including the Air Traffic Control Training Centre, flight simulators, and Intelligent Aircraft Tractor Driving Simulator.

As a star mentor, Ir. Dr Angus Cheung shared with young people his educational journey, cultivation of interests, and over 30 years of practical experience in the aviation industry and used innovative teaching aids to introduce them to aviation operations and potential career paths. Drawing on his personal experience, he explains how to equip oneself with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in the workplace and responds to their questions.

At the same time, Ir. Dr Angus Cheung said, “We hope to use an intelligent simulation system that closely mirrors real-world scenarios to help young people gain a more multi-dimensional understanding of aviation operations and safety culture, thereby building their confidence and interest and encouraging them to explore diverse future pathways in the fields of aviation and artificial intelligence.”

During the event, he demonstrated ATL’s self-developed Intelligent Aircraft Tractor Driving Simulator to the young people, sparking their interest in the aviation industry and helping them understand the various applications of innovative technologies in modern aviation. They engaged attentively and interacted enthusiastically, gathering around the simulator to observe and learn, creating a lively atmosphere on site.
