[Hong Kong, 30 January 2026] Ir. Dr. Angus Cheung was invited to attend the opening ceremony of the “Smart Countryside 2.0” Technology Exhibition and be a speaker at the “Smart Countryside 2.0” Seminar.

The “Smart Countryside” program was first started in the Hong Kong Smart City Blueprint 2.0 (2020). Its goal is to use technology to connect the countryside and make residents’ lives better. Countryside development should not only focus on protecting the environment; it can also use new technologies to build a more convenient and comfortable place to live. As a follow-up and improvement to the “Smart Countryside Pilot Program”, this “Smart Countryside 2.0” focuses on “Low-Altitude Economy and Smart Mobility”. It helps the public understand better how technology makes daily life easier and builds more convenient and long-lasting communities.

In his speech, Ir. Dr. Angus Cheung used simple and clear examples to explain the current development of the low-altitude economy. He also shared his ideas on smart mobility, helping the public clearly see the real improvements that new technologies bring to daily life. Safety is very important for both the low-altitude economy and smart mobility. Ir. Dr. Angus Cheung also used the company’s products to show the new technologies Aerovision has developed for flight safety. Aerovision has made great progress in the low-altitude economy field and also has strong technological advantages and application experience in transportation.

“The Intelligent GNSS Interference Monitoring System” can find and warn of GNSS interferences over a large area early. It can also determine how big the affected area is and where it comes from. This greatly improves flight safety in the low-altitude economy and reduces risks like crashes or injuries caused by human or environmental interferences.

“Intelligent Vehicle Driving Simulators” are smart systems that provide professional training and driving skills tests for special vehicles. They have a motion platform, a customized driving seat and a hyper realistic simulation system. They can simulate different driving situations, helping drivers to get better prepared in dealing with unexpected events, gaining more experience and form good driving habits, making road traffic safer and more stable.
